Using The Course in children’s ministry in church
Jenny shares how they use the course in their children’s ministry, an example of catch and how they’ve trained their team to create windows.
At Jenny’s church they use the Parenting for Faith course in their termly team training and they use chat and catch in their Sunday kid’s groups. She shares a story of how they talked about the ways we can catch from God and a boy connected with God and heard him answer the question, “what game do you like to play with me?” She shares how she’s also found that using the terminology with parents and kids has helped to create a really good church-home link up and how creating windows has also been a great tool for the Under 5s team in how to give the children a glimpse into their personal relationship with God.
