Prayer and under fives
28 February 2025
Psalm 139 contains that wonderful reminder that God is intricately involved with our children even as they are being formed in the womb. That relationship continues as they are born and grow, and prayer is at the heart of that, even for babies and toddlers.
The following posts will give you some next steps to get you started with prayer and under fives:
- We have four simple steps to help you and your toddler get started with chatting to God: find out what the four steps are.
- We can model chatting to God with our babies and invite them to join in: see how Anna does that.
- By weaving in prayer to our toddlers’ ordinary days, we can help them develop a pattern of prayer: Rachel explains how.
Here are two stories of what this looks like with toddlers:
- Becki shares a story a parent told her;
- Lauren shares a story about how a child chatted naturally to Jesus.
