Why do people buy Halloween costumes that celebrate murder and fear? Becky shares some of the questions she used to explore the topic with children.

Halloween can be a great opportunity to speak to our children about some important issues in our culture.

Becky shares how she used the opportunity to ask the children she worked with some questions.

  • When we buy a costume that is about hurting other people, is that ok?
  • Why does God warn us about not getting involved with evil? Is it because he’s a spoilsport? Or, does he know more than we do?
  • What do you want to celebrate, and what do you want to be seen as celebrating?
