Kids will ask questions - it's inevitable. And some of these questions might feel too big for us. So how do we approach them, when we feel ill-equipped to answer?

The first thing to remember is that questions are brilliant – because if kids are asking questions about God, however obscure they are or however hard they feel to answer, it’s the beginning of a conversation.

At Parenting for Faith we have a simple four step process to help us answer any question with a child or young person – and open up great conversations as well. We also have ideas here for getting to the bottom of things with our kids by asking ‘curious questions‘.

We also know that some kids love to delve into the nitty gritty of faith and need to have an intellectual understanding of what they are believing, and for those children and young people, we have a wealth of ideas for equipping them and supporting them as they search for answers.
