Recognising and sharing emotions
Teaching our children to recognise and share their emotions is one of our most important jobs as parents. How can we use the Bible's wisdom to ground our children's emotions in how God made them?
This episode of the Parenting for Faith podcast features Dave Hill, Director of Bethel Kids in Redding, California. He’s also the founder of HeartSmart, a schools-based curriculum which teaches children to love themselves and love others, based on 1 Corinthians 13.
Anna spoke to Dave about the HeartSmart curriculum, how it works in schools, and the importance of recognising and sharing our emotions – both with our children, and in our relationship with our Father God.
